  • Thursday Daytime – all levels Open/Closed Smooth single, multi-dance events, and Rising Star Scholarship, all levels Closed Rhythm single and multi-dance events
  • Thursday Evening – Pro/am Smooth Scholarship
  • Friday Daytime – All solos, all levels Open Rhythm single, multi-dance events, Rising Star scholarship and Grand Slam Scholarship, all levels Closed Latin single and multi-dance events
  • Friday Evening – Pro/am Rhythm Scholarship
  • Saturday Daytime – all levels Open/Closed Standard single, multi-dance events, Grand Slam Scholarship and Rising Star Scholarship, all levels Open Latin, single, multi-dance events, Rising Star Scholarship, Grand Slam and Latin Scholarships
  • Saturday Evening – Pro/am Standard Scholarship
  • Sunday – No pro/am events, but mixed amateur events

Cash Prizes Offered: Yes, although no amounts for Scholarships are listed on the website (10 single dance minimum required for scholarships). Top Student awards are listed in the schedule with no criteria. Top Teacher Awards offered with a $7,000 prize  for first place.

Costs:

Tickets:

  • Full event VIP pass – early bird $275, regular $300
  • Thursday full day pass – early bird $40, regular $45
  • Friday full day pass – early bird $45, regular $50
  • Saturday full day pass – early bird $50, regular $60
  • Sunday full day pass – early bird $20, regular $25

Entry Fees:

  • Solo Routines (per couple) – early bird $50, regular $55 per event
  • Single Dance Event (per couple) – early bird $30, regular $35 per event
  • Closed and Open Multi-Dance Event (per couple) – early bird $50, regular $55 per event
  • Scholarship Event (per couple) – early bird $70, regular $75 per event
  • Grand Slam Scholarship Event (per couple) – early bird $70, regular $75 per event
  • Rising Star Scholarship Event (per couple) – early bird $65, regular $70 per event

**NOTE: Scholarships require 10 single dance entries

Packages:

A package is offered that includes VIP seating Thursday-Saturday, 7 meals, a program and the VIP reception on Saturday evening. Hotel is not included in package.

Extras:

CdQ includes Professional Open, Rising Star and showdance competitions spread over the 3 nights. It also includes a Professional Showcase on Thursday night. Previous showcase couples have included Slavik and Karina as well as Riccardo and Yulia. CdQ is a WDC professional ranking event which draws top competitors from around the world including Blackpool finalists. It is also one of (if not the) largest pro/am event in Canada.
